Emily is a Vice President, Health Benefits Consultant in Segal's Hartford office. She evaluates technical and financial aspects of employee benefit programs for both public sector and multiemployer clients. Emily’s specific areas of expertise include the formulation of health benefit plan design strategies, the preparation of budget projections, employer/employee contribution modeling and cost-sharing scenarios, analysis of bid proposals and pricing plan design changes.
Prior to joining Segal, Emilyspent four years as a group underwriter and one year as an account manager in the health insurance industry.
Emily received a BA with honors from Le Moyne College, majoring in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science and a minor in Business Administration. She is a licensed Life, Accident and Health Producer in the State of Connecticut and holds corresponding licenses in DE, MA, MD, NH, NJ, NY, RI and VA. Emily has received the firm’s prestigious Quality Star Award.
