Michael is a Senior Vice President and Consulting Actuary in Segal’s New York office. He has more than 30 years of experience in retirement plan actuarial consulting. Michael currently leads Segal’s Corporate Solutions Team for Core DB services and is Segal's Corporate FASB subject matter expert. Michael also serves in the firm’s Office of the Chief Actuary. He currently serves as Consultant and Actuary to some of Segal’s largest corporate clients, as well as several nonprofit clients, including companies in the oil, paper and medical industries.
Prior to joining Segal, Michael worked as a Consultant and Actuary at a large accounting firm. He advised both large and small clients on a variety of retirement topics.
Michael graduated with a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science and a minor in Management from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary.
