Robert is a Consultant based in Segal’s Princeton, NJ office. He is part of Segal’s Corporate Retirement Practice and works with some of Segal’s largest corporate clients, including companies in the communications, sports and entertainment industries.
Robert has been a member of the Administration Consulting group, a division of the New York Corporate Retirement Practice, since 2014 and has expertise in defined benefit retirement programs, which includes consulting for actuarial and technical issues, day-to-day administration, plan documentation and process improvement. In this capacity, he prepares benefit calculations for complex cases involving Qualified Domestic Relations Orders and Minimum Required Distributions, performs large-scale data reconciliation and assists in the completion of the administration of benefits and compliance reviews and RFP drafting.
In addition to benefit administration, he has experience providing assistance in actuarial and analytical operations of corporate retirement programs, annual actuarial pension valuations, forecasting and non-discrimination testing. He has provided support to the firm’s defined contribution practice and Compensation & Career Strategies practice.
Prior to joining Segal, Robert held various roles in accounting and tax law.
Robert received a BS in Statistics and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently participating in the firm’s actuarial study program pursuing actuarial credentials.
In 2017, Robert received the prestigious Quality Star Award, the firm’s formal recognition for outstanding quality work and client service. In 2021, he also received the firm’s One-Company Award, which recognizes individuals who serve as a visible role model for collaboration and client focus that spans all business units, markets or practices.
