Prior to joining Segal, Jennifer worked at Korn Ferry, where she was Senior Principal, engagement manager and lead consultant for compensation projects and pay equity analysis for large organizations. She was also responsible for business development. Jennifer began her consulting career at Carlson Dettmann Consulting, an independent consulting firm in Madison, WI that focuses on compensation strategies, total rewards management and HR. At that firm, she consulted on compensation systems, competitive market pricing, total rewards analysis, executive compensation and incentive-based pay. Additionally, Jennifer managed business operations, designed a custom survey data warehouse and trained and mentored staff.
Jennifer earned a BS in Nutritional Sciences from University of Wisconsin (Madison, WI).and an MS in Sport Management from Northern Illinois University (DeKalb, IL). She holds the Certified Compensation Professional designation from WorldatWork.
