As General Counsel, Steven is responsible for managing the legal needs of the company and its affiliates. His responsibilities include providing advice and counsel regarding legal and regulatory matters; overseeing enterprise-wide risk management, policy development and training, and mergers and acquisitions; and protecting the company’s intellectual capital. Steven serves as a member of Segal’s Office of the Privacy Official and is also a member of Segal’s Women’s Leadership Council.
Steven joined Segal’s New York office in 2004 as Corporate Counsel in the Legal Department. Prior to joining Segal, Steven was a senior associate in the New York office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, an international law firm.
Steven received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baruch College (New York, NY) and his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School. Steven is a member of the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Florida (inactive) Bars.
