Mike is a Vice President, Talent Acquisition Programs, affiliated with Segal’s Austin office. He has over 20 years of experience in the human resources field, performing in recruiter and talent-acquisition management roles. Nearly 15 of these years has been spent working in our industry with competitor organizations, leading talent-acquisition efforts as both a senior recruitment consultant and talent-acquisition leader. He also briefly ran his own executive recruitment company serving clients in the HR consulting/outsourcing industry, including Segal, where he supported talent-acquisition needs in our corporate business.
Prior to joining Segal, Mike was a Global Search Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on identifying and hiring diversity talent in industries such as healthcare and human capital to fill senior roles in North America and Europe. Additionally, he helped shape McKinsey’s value proposition for diversity executive recruiting. Previously, he worked for Alight Solutions, Mercer and Emerus Hospitals in Texas. He began his career at Aon.
Mike earned both a BS in Psychology and an MA in General Administration with a concentration in Business from Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge, LA). He participated in the Management Leadership for Tomorrow Career Advancement Program at Yale University (New Haven, CT).
