Threats of violence seem to be increasingly common today. Common situations are often the triggers for violent acts as well as serious threats. While the risk is generally relatively low, the fallout should an incident occur can be devastating for the employer and more so for the employees – affecting those directly involved as well as those on the periphery who now feel unsafe.
