Michael is a Vice President and Consulting Actuary in Segal’s New York office. He has over 30 years of experience as an actuary, including 25 years in the employee benefits field. Michael also serves as Segal’s Actuarial Manager, overseeing company policies related to actuarial practices. He has served as Consultant and Actuary to some of Segal’s largest corporate clients, as well as several nonprofit clients, including companies in the communications, sports and entertainment, food and real estate industries.
Prior to joining Segal, Michael was a Consulting Actuary with a national benefits consulting firm, where he worked with large and mid-size clients in the telecommunications, chemicals, banking and food industries. Prior to that, he spent 10 years working in the life insurance industry.
Michael graduated with a BA in Mathematics from Cornell University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary.
